Not to mention it’s been three years, and my DIsgaea DS file is still on Chapter 6 (I have “beaten” the game once, mostly since I lost to Midboss just to get the Prinny commentary and Pleinair)… My brother’s not much of a Disgaea fan, and yet he’s gotten ALL the endings and has a pretty damn nice team to boot.

Most of my anti-motivation to get back to the game stems from how bad my team is, since I made them back when I first got the game in the end of 2008, and my knowledge on the gameplay wasn’t that good. I’m reluctant to start a new game over my file since I’ve grown so attached to my units. They’re like Pokemon. :c

My brother said I could start a new file over his Etna Mode file (he’s beaten it, and was actually disappointed by it), so maybe I’ll start a new game without the guilt of deleting my babbies. Maybe I’ll be a bit better on that run, then. c:

I really want to get D3R, though! Disgaea 3’s my favorite out of the games mostly due to the cast, story, setting being almost as great as D1 (D1 will always be a classic, though), and from what I’ve read of the features, they seem really fun! I enjoyed D1 in it’s own right, but I will agree that it was pretty tough (then again this is coming from someone who never got past Chapter 6 hahaha…)

I don’t really have much knowledge on evilities and stuff that’s been in D2-D4. My knowledge goes up to Disgaea 1, but even then, it’s pretty limited.

I don’t have D3R yet (I only have DIsgaea DS, which I’ve still yet to beat :I I’m a crap Disgaea fan), but I’m still debating on what weapons I want my Mao to use. I can see him using fist weapons, but then again I don’t know his weapons forte… I want an even balance of weapon types for my main character team orz…

Little goal I have if/when I get Disgaea 3 Return.

When I unlock Aurum (after bearing through Raspberyl mode), I am going to grind and gear him up and make SURE his stats don’t suck complete butt.

Seriously, he’s in his ultimate form as a DLC bloke, and yet his stats are crap, if I remember right. But then again, I think that’s just testament to how completely and utterly lame his ultimate form is.

I’ve never gotten too far in the game unfortunately (therefore I Have not gotten any of the endgame ultimate items), but I use a mix of custom and main characters on my fights. Usually I bring out Laharl as a last resort since he’s my highest-leveled and best geared on my team and can usually take out a unit a bit over his level in two turns. 

So me, Amber, Jess, and Sardo are thinking of collaborating on a stupid Maomaz porn fic.
